Our First Crop!

Thanks John for making our internet work again. Damn power strip. As my inagural post back I thought I would share a picture of our first crop of mini pumpkins. There are more on the vine too! Pretty exciting. It isn't even the fall yet. Can you believe that it is almost September though? Time sure flies...

How your knee should not look!!!

Well my knee is quite fucked up. I have a torn ACL and I dislocated my knee cap. There are a few different ways to fix me up, but they all involve going under the knife. The dr. could not understand how I am still walking. I'm out of action for atleast the next 5-6 months. Man it sucks to be a gimp.

Late night cleaning

Ok so Thursday night the storm hit and I came home at around 1AM to no power and water flowing out of my toilet. The water didn't get to the front room but half my bedroom got wet. The water stopped coming in around 2:30AM and I cleaned all I could clean. The power stayed off until Saturday around 2PM. Now my bedroom smells like mildew and I'll have to pull up the carpet and put a new floor down. Not fun stuff. But at least I go to Canada and Glacier in less than a month!! I guess I need my passport don't I? I swear I have no idea where the summer went. It's 5:20Am I should go to sleep.

Tomorow Fritz goes in for an exploratory surgery. She had x rays and ultra sound done and they couldn't find anything like a tumor but they could see that there is fluid in her stomach. the fluid that they pulled out did not have cancer cells acording to the doctor but he stressed that he is not a cytologist. Her stomach is obviously bloated. She is "with it". She is happy and can walk around a little. Its a hard decission. I dont know that we are making the right one to do the surgery. Its a good possibly that it could be a hematoma. That would be a good thing. If its cancer and they cant take it out, well that could be it. I think i would rather know exactly. To know that we couldnt do anything else. Dave or i will let you know tomorow what happens.

The Party's Here! dont come empty handed

This was my new project. all the bottle caps are different. Does that mean we all drink too much? The glue was a real problem. it ended up bubbling up on me and dried that way so it looks like beer all around the caps. i guess u have to see it. but you will! hopefully the neighbors wont mind

We had a mama deer and her two babies eating grass and playing on our driveway yesterday! I missed it but dave said it was really cute.

The Blog Goes Vacationing!

Well we're packed and slightly spazzed but I'm ready for this wedding and the resort we're staying at! I hope it's nice, either way I know Carrie has enough saltines to get us through the whole weekend. See ya'll there!!!

Lesson learned

Today's Lesson...Think before you put "funny" clothing ideas out there because sometimes you're crazy polish husband will act on them. I hope you are all looking forward to seeing this as part of his outfit next saturday... I won't even go into his shoelaces...

Puppies!

These are the puppies my aunt is getting next week! Aren't they cute? The brown one is a boy and will be called Codey. The yellow one is named Sasha and she is a lady. These pictures were taken when they were 3 or 4 weeks old. Next week they will be 8 or 9 weeks old. I am going to see them next Thursday so I'll post new pictures then. I want a puppy!

The boys are happy!

Boys were happy to see us. Non stop meowing and purring. House was not destroyed so that's good too. I got some guts today and dropped off 2 resumes and the 2nd place pretty much hired me. He was just going to make some calls to check my references and would give me a call this week. The places seems very nice. Not as good as the Village Vet that UB went to but right up there. Also let Bob know that luffingandnonskid@gmail.net was available for his email. I'm really happy about the possible vet job. Everyone was really nice and normal and i actually felt comfortable and was not really a nervous idiot. Kathy Butcher came home recently. I guess her dad is not doing very well so we are going to make some brownies tonight to bring over tomorrow. Roger stayed with his family but i think plans to come back soon. Getting ready for an exciting night of Deadwood as well! Dave is very excited to watch it. Thanks for a great time in Chi town. We had so much fun!! miss you all

I miss the ocean...

I never would have guessed that I would miss the ocean. Especially a tropical one. But, right now I would give anything to jump in this gleaming blue water. Or to be sitting on the front of the boat with the sea breeze blowing in my face. Instead I am sitting in my kitchen (because it is the coolest room in the house) and watching Dog the Bounty Hunter. Anyone want to go swimming?

Highlights....Lowlights

There's not much to say about the effect that this particular man's performance had on me, but I can say that on a positive note, his head band was very red. I had a great time this weekend and it was fun to hang out with you knoxvillians. Especially drunkenly dancing in the rain to Interpol. Now that it's over I am thinking...can you even dance to interpol? Nick video taped a little on his phone so I guess it really happened. Well, the weekend's over and I feel like I had a time of it which hopefully is just a preshow for the sort of fun we'll be having in less than two weeks!
