Dinnertime!

Greetings it is dinner time in LaGrange. They are cooking and I am sitting here on the computer. Not much else is new. I just took Dakota to the vet so they could re-culture her urine and her bladder was DRY!!! No wonder she keeps getting UTIs, she doesn't drink!! Anyway hope all is well with you in the world. WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to an amazing game on Sunday. We were able to beat Mexico in the Gold Cup Finals. Brent and Ball got a ticket for drinking in the park and I almost got arrested. All in all a wonderful day.

I learned how to do pictures!

The 1st picture is the old view, the 2nd is a somewhat zoomed in picture from the back deck. THe 3rd picture is exhausted sweaty men that lumberjacked through the forest for an amazing view. Next is Fritz and Roxy excited and unsure what in the world we are doing here. Last are the pups playing in Little River. On saturday we saw Live music in Knoxville. "Sick Puppies"seemed to be the hot ticket. never heard of them but they sell their cd at target. We found a nice Blues Bar in Maryville. we ordered 2 draft PBR's and the total was $3. i told the waitress no i'm paying for 2 and she said yeah i know. SCORE!

It was a fabulous day of fabulous people downtown! Not much new here. I am suppossed to be doing homework but am looking up flights to Knoxville instead. It looks like Sue and I will be driving. Hooray we have sucessfully signed onto the internet at another Wi-Fi place and it worked! Today I helped dave in the yard. We are trying to kill all the poison ivy, cut down the old dead trees, weed, hall large logs up the hill (avoid snakes). we havent seen any except the dead one that i swear that Josie and I saw on our walk. Some people (dave) dont believe me. We have found a lot of blackberry bushes near the driveway. We had a few and they are very good. maybe tomorrow we will put them in pancakes. Dave's went on a hike to find property stakes. They successfully found 5 or 6 but proceeded to get lost after that and it was really hot. They came back dripping. During this time i cleaned our room, did laundry at katrinas and sunbathed on that nice roof top deck. we are working on talking to Chris and Shelly about running the Cable Internet up the hill. otherwise we are going to get a dsl conection through the phone company which we just learned about last night. We shall talk soon. baby steps on the post next time i will try to post a picture or two.

I have arrived!

Greetings everyone. Chicago definatly loves Knoxville! I just went to Merle Norman to get some new eyeliner. I love that lady there but I always feel so frumpy when I go in there. Today it didn't help that I just got out of Organic Chemistry class where I am required to wear long pants and shoes and it is like 90 degrees out! I just wish I knew how to put on make up! Oh well, maybe I'll learn someday. Hope all is well with everyone. Catch ya later!

CRIME SPIKES IN A SMALL SUBURB OUTSIDE OF CHICAGO!!!

Someone stole my bike! Sure it wasn't locked up, but neither were any of the other many bikes in the hall. Damn it! I definately would have shared bike time with anyone who would have asked to use my bike. I'm a good sharer. But they didn't ask and now I feel sad that someone was mean to me...sniff... Well I thought I would let you all know. And if you see any good deals at any garage sales or whatever give me a heads up. Next time I am definately getting a cheapo and a lock!

Back in Chicago the dust settles

Had a great long weekend and can't wait to get back. Hopefully this week Bob, Johny and Dave don't cut a tree down on the house so it is still standing for us to use again. From the looks of it Josie had a good time. Josie you better stop taking my pictures down. I hope someone reads this besides Josie, John and I. Lets go guys, post something!!

Road Tripping

Hi Everyone, which at this point I think is Nick and John. Hopefully once Sonja and Dave get DSL they can blog it up too! John and I have picked up the Rav4, mattress and all. Hopefully we will really be able to get on the road by 2am. We are so excited about our road trip and checking out the new digs in TN! Well I just wanted to post a blog for postings sake. I can't wait to stop at our first gas station!!!

Today I added another picture to the blog and John showed me how to invite ya'll to be able to write on it as well. But I haven't done that yet...mainly because I do not have your email addresses in my brain and so I have to find them in my email account and then copy and paste or something like that. Hahaha! I can't wait till other people know about this site:)

Hi everyone. Once upon a time we tried an online bulletin board thing and it didn't work for very long. I have been trying to think of ways for us to keep in touch as people begin branching out. This is one way. So I think that if we all have the password and what not we can make posts just to keep us all updated. What do you think?
